Our Journey to DTFJAX
DTFJAX began with a simple commitment: provide exceptional printing, dependable service, and turnaround times our customers can build their businesses around.
Our journey started in late 2014, when we opened Ink Campaigns in Miami, Florida. We provided screen printing, embroidery, sublimation, vinyl, and rhinestone services to businesses, organizations, and individuals.
In 2019, we relocated to Jacksonville and became Compass Screen Printing. While our name and location changed, our commitment to quality and reliable service remained the same.
DTF Printers
In late 2022, we discovered Direct-to-Film transfer technology and immediately recognized its potential. On October 27, 2022, we ordered our first commercial-grade printer from ColDesi. For the next six months, we used DTF transfers primarily to fulfill apparel orders that were not suited for traditional screen printing. The technology allowed us to produce detailed, vibrant, soft-feel designs while offering customers greater flexibility and fewer limitations. In July 2023, we began selling press-ready DTF transfers directly to customers who wanted to decorate their own apparel using a heat press. As more businesses, print shops, apparel brands, and creators discovered the advantages of DTF technology, demand grew quickly—and so did we.
Expanding
In March 2024, we added our first UV DTF printer, allowing customers to create durable, full-color decals for tumblers, drinkware, packaging, promotional products, and other hard surfaces. Our continued growth has allowed us to invest in additional commercial equipment and build a dedicated team.
Capacity
Today, DTFJAX operates six commercial DTF printers, two UV DTF printers, and two flatbed cutters. Behind that equipment is a growing team committed to production, order processing, customer service, and delivering the reliable experience our customers expect.
Support
Our growth is not measured only by the number of printers and cutters we operate. It is also reflected in the people who help us serve our customers every day. As demand increased, we intentionally expanded our team to strengthen each part of the customer experience—from producing transfers and processing finished orders to answering questions and helping customers find the right solutions. Every team member plays an important role in maintaining our quality standards and next-business-day turnaround promise. Their dedication allows DTFJAX to continue growing while providing the responsive, personal service on which our customers have come to depend.
