Design Specs
DTF transfers have broken the barriers in apparel decorating. However, there are certain minimum design requirements to produce transfers you want to press onto apparel. Take the time to review and ask questions when in doubt.

Transparent Backgrounds
Raster files are made with dots. As you scale an image bigger, those dots get fuzzy. Best practice is to use images that are to scale or bigger than you need and have a transparent background.
-
RESOLUTION
Be sure your image is at 300 dpi (dots per inch) at the size you want to print.
Pay attention to element and font sizes, as well as translucent, distressed, and shadow elements. These may not transfer as expected or at all.

ART TOOL
