What are Direct to Film Transfers?
Often referred to as DTF, these transfers are created to decorate apparel and other soft surface items.
At DTFJAX, we invested in the best commercial-grade printer and use high quality Kodak products to produce your transfers. We are meticulous and cut no corners with your transfers.
What images can I use on transfers?
Since we are digitally printing your transfers, we can print any image. That doesn't mean you want to print any image, though. Check out our Design Specs page for more information about the best practices when it comes to images.
How durable are DTF transfers?
When DTF transfers are applied to the garment correctly and washed properly, they will last the garment life cycle, about 50 washes. Independent wash tests have proven these results.
For best results, wash garment inside out with cold water, normal dryer and do not iron directly on the design.
How do I apply them to my garments?
DTF transfers require 3 key elements for a successful application: heat - pressure - time. You will need a heat press set at a pressure of 7, 300 degrees F and a timer (1st press 10 seconds, 2nd press 7 seconds).
